Joining Toyo Tires’ extensive lineup of high-performance rubber is its newest Proxes RR DOT competition tire, designed for optimal dry track performance.
The biggest selling point about the new Proxes RR however is that its race-ready design eliminates the need for tire shaving, a major inconvenience to those that often head out to weekend time attack or track events. It features a symmetric design with two circumferential grooves molded to a 4/32 tread depth, providing “ultimate traction with superior cornering force” according to Toyo. And being DOT approved, that means it’s street-legal too.. but just barely, so you’ll want to avoid long drives, and even puddles.
It will be available in three sizes: 205/50ZR15, 225/50ZR15, and P275/35ZR18 and is recommended for competition events only.
